Acclaimed vocal ensemble, Eklektika, bring their sublime concert, Music & Peace, to Thirroul Community Centre as part of a national tour to raise urgently-needed funds for Médecins Sans Frontières’ humanitarian work in Gaza and the Middle East.
The program includes reimaginings of Purcell, Mozart, Max Bruch, George Harrison, Kate Bush, Radiohead & more, and a new work in 5 movements by award-winning film & theatre composer, Dr Judy Stubbs, 'Prayer for Gaza', which sets to music poems by renowned Palestinian poets. It also features works by award winning Jewish poets and musicians who stand for peace and human rights.
